Human Male Model
A downloadable asset pack
This is a free, modular pixel art model for use as template!
Hi my name is Floris, I started out trying to learn how to make games in godot with zero coding skills, but I figured out that making assets also takes up a huge chunk of the game making process. I made this asset to form a base for my projects, with the idea to use this asset to create any character I needed. I figured that the art side of making games is sometimes the hardest part for game developers, and so I wanted to try to make that part easier by publishing my work here.
Animations list:
- Idle
- Walk
- Run
- Jump
- Death
- Hurt
- Sword Attack
- Bow Shot
- Staff Cast
The walk and run animations include frames at the end that transition to the idle state, the run animation also includes a frame at the start that transitions from the idle to the run state.
The idle, walk, run, jump, death, and hurt animations all have a version which includes the character holding a sword and shield, a bow, or a staff.
The attack animations for each three combat styles (sword, bow and staff) each have a separate effects layer. In this layer, the sword's effects, the bow's arrow, and the staff's projectile is separately animated to allow you to customize these for your own project.
Customisation is made easy in Aseprite, as each body part is separated into its own layer; head, front arm, back arm, torso, front leg, back leg.
